Ludwig was adopted from SARC at the ripe age of 10, in October 2016. He was hit by a car and found on the side of the road by SARC and saved by them and a wonderful vet! The vet said his injuries were extensive, and it was a miracle that he lived and has no problems now! Unfortunately, Ludwig was not chipped, nor tattooed, so all attempts at finding his owner were unsuccessful. After healing for over a month at SARC, I adopted Ludwig (then known as Johnny) and he fit into my life as if he were always there. His favourite activities include car rides, chasing tennis balls, and cuddling with his me. Whoever had Ludwig before me trained him perfectly, he has never done anything bad in my home, etc. and loved him very much. I am very thankful for that person, every day of my life. Ludwig has changed my life and I love him more than anything in this world. The way a rescue dog looks at you is different and so endearing, and I can't imagine not rescuing another one in the future. He truly is the love of my life and one of the best things that has ever happened to me. The photo above is from his 1 year anniversary with me. I don't know his real Birthday, so I celebrate it on the day that I adopted him. I know it sounds cheesy, but I didn't rescue Ludwig... He rescued me.
