I adopted Honey when she was about 1 and a half years old. This little girl had a tough 1st year with me. She broke he front leg, then simultaneously she broke her back ACL on both legs, all within a year. We think maybe a car had hit her just before I got her. For months she had to be crated and carried every where. She acts more like a wolf than a dog. She is afraid of any real loud noises, won't drink water unless she knows she can go out and nervous out side by herself. Since going to day care she is much better, it has helped her with socializing. She is very sweet but protective. I have no idea what she went through before I got her, it must have been horrible.
