Penny came to us when she was almost 7. I found her on the Kelowna spca site over Christmas and New Years while I was I was in the hospital in Kamloops. She somehow managed not to be adopted until we had the chance January 8 ,2016. 2 days after being released we had already made the apt. And went to Kelowna to adopt our penny winkle. She is a loving little girl who constantly wags her tail. She is such a happy little sweetheart. She loves her piggy and her brother. We looked for another dog to be with one we already had. He was getting very lonely after not having another shih tzu that we had to put down at the age of 17. Our Penny winkle is very attached to my husband. Also the rest of our family but we figure her previous owner was a male.
