Hi. I'm Gorgeous George and I'm almost 8 years old. My mom started volunteering at the BCSPCA Vancouver Branch in 2011 as a dog walker. She said she didn't want to own a dog, but loved to walk them. Meanwhile the staff and other volunteers chuckled behind her back, knowing that one day she would find the perfect dog and take it home. Along comes August 2011 and I, Gorgeous George, walked into the Vancouver shelter after being transferred from Prince George. I wasn't getting adopted up there, so they moved me in hopes that I would find my furever home in Vancouver. Then my mom Anita walked in and it was all over for her and me. I hit the adoption jack pot and my life is perfect now. Before I met her I was a stray and life was hard for me, people were mean to me. Now I have 5 beds, get walked three times a day, and she tells me she loves me every night. I woof her so much and I'm pretty sure she woofs me too.
