Farley was a Black and Tan Coonhound pup in need of a home. She and her litter-mates came along unexpectedly and their human was desperate to find committed, loving homes for them.
Our family had recently started talking about adding another dog to our family, and had comitted to #adoptnotshop, so we decided to provide a home for the squishy little creature we met one sunny July day.
Farley is 18 months old now, and has been such a joy to us. She is goofy yet smart, sleek but floppy, and is incredibly playful and affectionate. Farley loves sniffing around the forest trails near our home and snuggling on our bed in the evenings.
