Entrant's First Name

Animal Bio
Roxy was 11 months old and in the Quesnel shelter. She had been placed there from her first owners. Due to her insatiable energy, they could not deal with her and turned her over. The Owners had adopted her from the same shelter when she was a pup. They had actually found her and her litter mates off a country road in Quesnel with no homes around. They took them to the shelter and eventually adopted her later. I came across her on the shelters website. I was entranced by her eyes. I live in the lower mainland and made arrangements to go see her. It was a 8 hour trip one way in February 2016. I fell in love with her and adopted her on the spot. We have since found out that she is more than likely a Australian Kelpie herding dog. Hence the insatiable energy. That suits us fine as we love to cycle and hike. We have brought her to a herding class with sheep and she has the instincts. She just wants to be anywhere we are hiking, cycling or lounging on the couch.
We feel so lucky that fate has brought us together.
