Animal Bio
This is my angel Bella. This photo is from our first walk together. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Mississippi and she was the most magical dog you have ever met. She was a mix of foxhound, sharpei and curly coated retriever. On April 21 2018 it will be 3 years since Bella passed suddenly within seconds from what i can only guess was her heart or a stroke. She was just 5 and a half years old. Bella was my soulmate. She was my everything. I spent all my time with her. She was so frightened when i first got her but she blossomed like a beautiful flower into a confident and trusting dog as a result of our bond. I have loved many animals in my life but none like Bella. When you looked into her eyes you could see her soul. The 3 and a half years I spent with Bella were the greatest years of my life. People would often stop me on the street and tell me my dog had a special energy, that there was something about her they just couldn't explain. That they had never seen a dog that looked like her, that she was so special in some magical way. I miss my sweet angel every moment of every day. I am a somewhat spiritual person, though I am not always sure what my beliefs are, but one thing is for sure, Bella was a angel in a dog's body and the impact she made on my life and on me can not be put into words. I love you Bella and i will see you in my dreams. Thank you for being the greatest friend I have ever had.
This is a poem i wrote for her, this is the first time i have shared it. As an animal lover i hope it resonates:

I miss those loving eyes staring up at me. I could see your soul.
I will never fill this deep dark everlasting hole.
You brought me joy and love I did not know was possible to feel
Your loss is still so painful and still deeply so unreal.
I had never felt safe before I had you by my side
Your love for me immediate, your heart so deep and wide
You saved my soul from darkness and showed me there was light.
Your trust of me inspiring, you gave reason for my fight.
I felt that because you came to me all was meant to be
If the universe brought us together there was much more then we could see
You helped me to find faith in reason, in all, both good and bad
When I lost you, moving forward took everything I had.
So silly, so sweet, so full of love,
So beautiful, so special, a soul brought here from above.
It wasn’t just me who sensed this truth that you were a spirit beyond this place
It was known by all the moment they saw those eyes, and that beautiful beautiful face.
Sweet angle bella I miss you deep to my core
Since losing you sometimes I fear what life may have in store
Come to me in my dreams sweet Bella. Ill be waiting for you there
My soulmate, my greatest love, you truly were so rare.
