I've had Ruby since she was 6 weeks old; she is now 7 years old. Last year she was diagnosed with a hereditary condition leading to blindness. But an innocent bystander would likely not be able to tell. Her spirit is undiminished and she enjoys her food and playing with toys that make noises.
