Animal Bio
We were looking for a dog to join our family and found her on the SPCA website. We learned that she had been starved, neglected and abandoned by her previous owners and we were committed to changing her story and gave her a forever home with us. We might have technically rescued Bella but she rescues us every day. She always seems to know if anyone in the family is sick, upset or hurt and she will not leave their side until they feel better. We did not set out to own the largest, whitest, hairiest dog we could find but we would not trade the love, joy and laughter she has brought to our home. She is a big dog with a huge heart for people and animals and her favourite place to be is with people. With trips to Mexico being the only exception, she comes with us everywhere we go. To friends homes, sporting events, camping trips, ski weekends, seaside holidays and hikes on trails all include our beloved Bella. She is a friend to all who meet her and will gladly stop for a long pet or big hug (because a huge dog is very huggable!).
