Sammy is a 3 year old Tabby cat which I had the fortune of adopting in Toronto’s annual adoption event. He was 4 months old when he joined the family. Little I knew that in a short few months I’ll loose my younger son and how pivotal it was having Sammy in my life. For a couple of years I simply was not in the mood and able to celebrate the Persian New Year which starts when the spring arrives, but dressing Sammy up was something manageable and such a joy to do. I’m grateful for having Sammy in my life every single day.
