Entrant's First Name
Boss?

Animal Bio
This is the “Boss” of our household.
He goes by many names; the infamous back up Boose (he backs up through spaces he believes he’s to big for..), wigglebum, cuddlebum, kitty, boosey. But, mainly just Boss, we don’t want him having some weird identity crisis.

Boss is so sweet that you can’t help but find yourself doing exactly what he wants. Whether that be tucking him in to “your bed” while you sleep on the couch, or giving up that last bite of sirloin, it genuinely makes you happy to see him smile. It’s weird, but I believe it’s all in the eyebrows.

Our boy Boss loves to play stick games, but he’ll give up the game pretty quick for an old fashioned rabbit rundown. Oh, did I mention he was fast? Boss has “caught” several rabbits -if you count a sniff and a lick before running after the next, counts.

Unfortunately due to his level of self awareness, he’s very hard to shame. This guy has eaten 10 pairs of my shoes/slippers; I’ve gotten mad at him over maybe one pair - every other time he’s just hid behind the bathroom door... and remained there until I could finally coax him out... talk about awkward pet parenting. Another downfall to his awareness level is that when he knows, that you know, that he wants to go for a w***, this exasperation of a sign, I swear was straight off the set of mean girls escapes his face. I am talking, sassy 10 fold. I know it’s sassy because he does the same one anytime one disturbs his slumber. He truly doesn’t enjoy when he’s denied the delight of chasing his dreams, his puddle of a face gets pouty and when he looks up at you - prepare to have your heart break, I usually just cover him up before that though - I’ve learned my lesson.

Boss is 2y/o, witty - like real jokes, and is getting smarter by the day. He is able to tell his left paw from his right, and this little cuddle bum also knows how to do circles when asked. Can give high fives, kisses and is currently learning how to look both ways before crossing the street (thumbs up for safety!). He is also quite agile, but what’s a little flip for a frisbee between pals, anyways? (A lot cooler in person, that’s what!)

Bottom line is this Rottweiler-Lab-Ridgeback-Pit Bull Cross, is by far one of the most intelligent and gentle dogs I’ve ever come across. He seems to love all animals so far. He lives with a cat named Marlow, and they’re both active members of the “Best Friend’s Club”, currently there are only 2 participants.

Boss was lucky to dodge the life path he was originally given. Thankfully events shifted, and he came into our lives to help make our house a home.
