I adopted Phyllis from the Calgary SPCA when she was 3 months old. She had been found abandoned inside a garbage dumpster by a garbage man. She was frail and malnourished and almost didn't survive but her host family took amazing care of her to get her ready for adoption. She is the most social cat i've ever had and loves to be surrounded by people at all times. She is currently 13 years old and still just as playful as when she was a kitten.
