Nicholas and his siblings were left in a box outside a Petcetera store. I first met him at his foster mom's and fell in love with hm and his sister, who were very attached to each other. He is nearly 12 years old now and, sadly, we lost his sister, Anastasia, last year. A week later when I was talking about her, I looked over to see tears on his cheeks.
Nicholas likes to lounge in various places and has his own office chair from which he supervises my work. He also prefers to be with me at all times and follows me around the apartment, constantly chatting and undoubtedly giving me directives about what I am expected to do for him.
He is a sweet and loving boy and likes to wake me up by lying on my chest and purring and, if necessary, batting my face with his paw. He is a wonderful companion.
