I had always heard of the cat cafe in Vancouver and wanted to go. Finally, on a surprise trip me and my mom went. We walked around and played with a few of the cats and then we found shadow. She was adorably curled up on a shelf and was incredibly friendly. I had an instant connection with shadow. We instantly fell in love with her and when my mom asked if I wanted to put in an adoption application and I cried out of happiness. When we asked to fill out an application we found out that Shadow was part of a bonded pair with Luna. The whole time Luna was curled up on a ladies lap purring. When I was with both Luna and Shadow I was so happy and they were obviously very happy together. A week or two goes by and we get the call saying we can take them home and we plan a trip to get them as soon as possible. Now shadow curls up on my chest and purrs while Luna is tucked in behind my legs very loudly purring away. I think back on it now and look at pictures and it still makes me cry. They are the most loving and amazing creatures I've ever met.
