Animal BioHalo was adopted from our local SPCA March 15 2011. Her momma was abandoned very pregnant Dec. 29 and had a c section Jan 2. Halo was presumed deceased as she was lodged in the birth canal so she was placed aside and her sister was delivered via c section. The assistant noticed movement from the puppy and realized she was going to be fine.....a miracle yet to be.
I had to make a heart breaking decision that day in March and was at the SPCA paying for pet cremation when the ladies told me about her. I got down on the floor sobbing from my loss and she waddled out of her little kennel and licked my tears away and stole my heart that very second. Without hesitation I adopted her not knowing her breed or anything else about this precious little ball of fur. Her breed is "Chiweenie" I changed her name to Halo as she was helping to heal my heart as two of my pets crossed the rainbow brigde that same day. Halo is my right arm, my very best shy little girl and she knows it. One of the best well behaved little dog whom LOVES the snow. Plus my husband tells me my Halo is always around my ankles. Halo is my little queen of hearts.❤
