River is a Siberian Husky x Alaskan Malamute who lives on a sailboat based in Alert Bay BC where he goes for daily forest treks, bog walks, and ocean explorations. His human photographs coastal wildlife and he travels with her; his favourite adventure was the first one they went on together, shortly after he adopted his human - where they travelled to the mighty Fraser River to find giant sturgeon, and 5 species of Pacific salmon. River swam around and napped on the river bank from sunrise to sunset, and camped in a forest nearby with his new pack. He loves new adventures, and is quite content to curl up for cuddles with his human at the end of each day, wherever they may be.
