This is Oscar...and yes, she's a girl. (we didn't name her, and we tried different variations, but she already answered to it) I have other cute and silly photos of her, but this one really shows who she is.

She adopted our family when she was about one year old. She just walked into our home! Through her tattoo, we found her owner, but a few weeks later she came back, and it was decided that she made her choice. That was 17 years ago!

Oscar had the cutest face, and most adorable squeak instead of a meow, which saved her when she was batting my face to wake me up early in the mornings. She didn't really like cats in her castle, but didn't seem to mind dogs as long as they behaved. She was the sweetest, loving cuddle-bug who wrapped herself around the heart of anyone who met her. My brother called her a "serene being"...truth.

Oscar recently passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at home in the arms of those who love her. We miss her terribly, but have a lifetime of memories to carry.
