Back in 2013, my daughters and I went to Ohio to visit my sister. There we discovered "puppy mills" and decided that we would not buy a pet but would adopt one instead. After convincing the hubby, we started looking online. A few days later this little guy came up on the Petfinder site as a four month old "cavalier mix". Our whole family loves the spaniel's signature long ears, and I figured he was the one for us. I went to Abbotsford SPCA to meet him, and spent about an hour with him out front. I fell in love immediately, and filled out an application. The next day I received a call that we were approved to adopt, and we picked him on the Saturday. The rest is history - he is an amazing boy, we is loved by his family and everyone who meets him. The word for Jackson is spoiled and we thank the Abbotsford SPCA every day for rescuing him. He is in a very safe and happy home and is treated like the King that he is. He enjoys long walks, raw food, sleeping under the covers and any kind of attention he can get. He also may sneak up on the kitchen table to steal food. Also, he must be touching a human being at all times. Thank you SPCA for our amazing little boy!
