Digger is a healthy and happy tuxedo ginger. He was rescued as an adult cast-off from a pet food store "jail." He was so afraid, he turned his face into the very back corner of his "cell." But even before he got pulled out so that I could see all of him, including his mustaschio, I knew I wanted to save him. When I got him, he was skinny and full of fleas and ear mites. To this day, he's very touchy about anyone investigating his ears during his annual physicals at the vet. I've had him six years, and he's 14 now. We will have a new, bigger home in June and I will be inviting another carefully selected rescue kitty from the SPCA to come and live with us. Each will have their own private accommodations (bedrooms) in the home until we are settled enough for introductions - with the first being the sniff-test under the door. I hope that with time and love, they will come to accept each other on the "new turf." There will be plenty of toys and treats, cat condos, and hidey-spaces for each. I'm very excited to finally have the space to have two kitties and can hardly wait to meet whoever it might be.
