Lily is the best dog ever, she's absolutely mental but she's the most amazing dog you'll ever meet. Lily is so smart and can learn new tricks in a split second but she's also such a kind dog, when you are having a bad day Lily knows, and she will come rest her head on your lap and look at you with her big caring brown eyes. As loving as Lily is she did not always receive that kind of love back, she was born unable to breath and her mother immediately rejected her. The only reason she is alive today is because the person who owned her at the time preformed CPR on her. For most of her puppyhood she was bottle fed which most likely led to her fondness of people, and for her to believe that she is one. She loves every thing even the cats in the household that constantly play with her tail and pounce on her from behind the couch, but she would rather die than eat a vegetable. Lily is a very particular eater and will carefully pick out anything out of her food that slightly resembles a veggie and lay it on the floor beside her bowl.

As much as my family adopted Lily so she could be a dog to keep us company when we were out biking/hiking/skiing or any kind of outdoor activity, she soon turned out to be the laziest dog on the planet. We thought that because Lily was a mix between a Border Collie and an Australian Shepard that she would be incredibly energetic but even taking out for a run was impossible as all Lily would do was run in front of you and lay in the middle of the path so that you had to stop. Even though she didn't turn out to be the dog we expected, the entire family fell in love with her because she is just such an amazing creature.

I have been so incredibly lucky to have Lily in my life for the past 8 years.
