Hombrecito spent the first two years of his life living on the streets of Cozumel Mexico. Cozumel is a beautiful place, but not for a stray cat. After two horrible years, he was taken in by a local rescue group and eventually made his way to Canada. He was not in very good health when we adopted him - malnourished, chronic gingivitis - after extensive dental work he now only had four teeth. He was not socialized and exhibited feral behavior. He was shy of people but took instantly to our other cat Willow, also a rescue from Mexico. Fast forward five years and he is a wonderful little guy - healthy, happy, mischievous and a very important member of our family. Hombrecito means little man in Spanish!
