Harley was adopted from the Alberta SPCA as a kitten when I was younger. He was a sweet cat with a very loud purr, hence his name. The dog in the foreground is Ralph, who was Harley's best friend and somewhat of a brother to him. Sadly, Harley died 5 years ago from a house fire while the rest of the family, including Ralph, was away. He gave me many wonderful memories, and I hope other SPCA cats make as much of an impact on their owners as Harley did on me.
