Animal BioWhen I first saw Grace at the Victoria, BC SPCA in February 2016 she was recovering from having all but 3-1/2 canine teeth removed, having been surrendered for that reason. She was on her second round of antibiotics. I sat with her every day for 1-1/2 weeks before taking her home and we formed a bond. Over two years later and we are living in Mill Bay. This precious girl has so much love to give. She has blossomed into a chatty tortie, loves to snuggle up with "Mom" for a movie (picture). And what an appetite. She manages hard and soft food with no problem. She enjoys going out on the balcony and looking at the deer, bunnies and birds traveling around the woodlands behind our building. This is definitely her forever home, and she fills my heart with such love and joy every day. I thank all the wonderful people at the SPCA for what they did to help Grace and bring us together, and what they do every day to save animals from suffering.
