Pepper is a Normal grey Cockatiel. My family and I rescued him in July of 2017. He was so afraid, rarely had human contact, and was kept in very poor conditions. The bottom of his cage was grossly caked full of droppings. Pepper had a very sweet partner named Sunny, but unfortunately we weren't able to rescue her as well. The day I met him I knew his life was going to be so much better from that point on. He has gone through an absolutely incredible transformation, and honestly it's been a little overwhelming .. He is such a sweet, charismatic bird and I can't remember life without him at this point. Although, he still has a long way to go. He is still improving daily and his personality is really beginning to shine. Pepper now has a great life, he is on a healthy diet full of fresh Veggies and Sprouts, his feet no longer have sores from the dowel perches he was forced to live with, and loves to go outdoors and learn new tricks and words. Pepper is absolutely the most amazing bird I've ever met, and I'm so glad that he's in my life today.
