My friend from Purple Cat Society in Bedford, NS needed a foster for this little lady. We decided to foster her but ended up falling in love with her and couldn’t let her go. She came from a huge colony of cats back in Halifax, NS. She was less then a pound, the runt of her litter and sick, we weren’t sure she was going to make it. But after many nights of bottle feedings, cuddles and vet visits she decided that this was going to to be a life worth fighting for. She lived her first 3 years on the East Coast then my husband was posted to the West Coast. Flora and her 2 sisters got to fly across the country and start their new lives breathing in Pacific air! 5 years later this 7 pound cat is the queen of her castle!
