Miko the purebred Sheltie and Pippin the Shih-tzu/Poodle are older brothers to rescue mutt, Lejla.
We found Lejla on the side of the road while on vacation in Bosnia in 2014. After some heroic efforts by kindhearted folks on 2 continents, Lejla came to live with us in August 2014.
Lejla won the doggy-lottery in getting to come to Canada. She wants to pay-it-forward by helping to raise money for all of the homeless & mistreated dogs in B.C. She hopes that they can all be as lucky as she has been.
