I was diagnosed with Cancer in 2015 and my husband realized that I needed to focus on something positive, so we flew to Texas and rescued Pogo from a rescue society. He has been extremely important in my day to day life and keeps me focused on the positive!

We found out about Jake while he was at the Vernon SPCA. He needed the same kind of rescuing I did when we got Pogo. He was in bad shape when he was surrendered, but the Vernon SPCA pulled out all the stops to get him healthy again. It took our family almost a year to get him to fully open up, and now he is an important part of my day to day life as well.
