Riley came to me when she was a baby. I rescued her from a person who was ill equipped to keep a cat. I brought her in to my home with 4 other resident cats. It took her about 5 minutes, even as a kitten, to rise to dominance over the others. From the first moment, she became the cat that got in, or on, to anything and everything. In my 15 years of having cats, never had one managed to get to the top of the fridge, or the top of the bookcase. Riley Rose had both licked by the time she was a year.

She definitely keeps me on my toes, and honestly, I believe that she plots new death defying stunts to freak me out whenever I am out of the house. She is smart as can be, and sometimes I wonder if she isn't actually plotting to take over the world.

I could not love her more (despite the number of times I have uttered the words, "Riley No!!"). She makes me laugh, and she loves to cuddle in bed when it is time for sleep. I am go blessed that she found her way to me, and can't wait to see what mischief she gets up to next!
