Rufus is an 8 year old Tabby. He was born in the UK. Where he lived with me and husband Ian until we moved to Canada in May 2018. Unlike many who give their pets up even with a move to another town, Rufus joined us with our emigration. He was on our flight and checked in with us. Rufus was in his own pet hold on the flight and I was more nervous of him being ok than our epic life changing journey to Canada. He was absolutely great. He was a little unsure on our 1st night in the hotel at Vancouver, being on the 10th floor with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the marina, he'd never been so high before nor seen water and boats like that.

Rufus has settled in well to life in Canada.

Rufus is a lap cat on his terms only. He sleeps alot! And when he wakes up he makes sure the rest of the house is up too!

He loves talking to the hummingbirds at our feeder, knowing they are way to quick for him.

In the UK he was an outdoor cat, but since the move to Canada and our rental restrictions, he is adapting to indoor life, or life on a lead. This has been a challenge and our current house hunting has had Rufus at the heart of it, if the house isn't suitable for Rufus, then it isn't suitable for us. We hope to move to our own place in the summer of 2019 and Rufus will be once again able to explore the outdoor world, but with a strict curfew.
