Animal Bio
Luna was adopted from Mexico when she was 2 years old. The first part of her life all she knew was how to keep herself safe on the busy streets of Puerto Vallarta. We can only speculate with how Luna reacts to things on what her experience was really like. She was a terrified pup when I got her, not trusting anyone or anything really. She has had a litter or two of pups in her first 2 years, she has scars and had an accident to her tail. 1 year later though and she's made a complete turn around. She is still startled by loud noises, but has come a long way in she can trust people, men included, which she would run from. She likes car rides, beach walks and hikes! Any place outdoors and she's a happy pup. She even loves the snow! For a pup that's never known this falling white stuff to not wanting to come inside in 3 feet of snow! She loves her older adopted sister Tundra, who is a Coyote/Shepard cross and has 30lbs on her and boy do they play fight!
I work in a care home and Luna comes to work with me when she can and loves it! She is a wonderful therapy dog and will eventually be certified.
Luna is my pride and joy, the steps I've seen this little pup take in just a year amazes me. She can overcome anything and is extremely loving for having such a traumatic first part of her life.
