Animal Bio
This beautiful guy was rescued from an Indian Reservation in Williams Lake by a kind lady who brought him to the local SPCA. I was searching for a new furry friend as my beloved Border Collie, Daisy-Duke had passed away from a sudden illness in September, 2018. When I saw the photo of "Stanley" (as he was then called) on the Williams Lake SPCA website, I immediately fell in love with him and felt in my heart that he was the one for me. I completed an application and had some telephone conversations with the gals at the SPCA and was approved. In December my husband and I left at 6:00 am from our home and drove to Williams Lake. I had tears of joy when I saw him and Stanley was excited too! We have changed his name to Chinook. We didn't know how Chinook would react to our 4 cats but after a few days all was well. He plays with our 3 year old cat, Suzanna constantly but he is even more close to our 3 month old cat, Sade. Chinook has found his forever home with us and doesn't have to fight anymore for his food or live outside. This photo was taken shortly after we brought him home when my best friend, Marina, was taking him for a walk where we live. He is looking at a squirrel in a tree. Chinook has completed our lives immensely.
