Ryder is a 4 year old Border Collie/Blue Heeler that I adopted in 2015 when he was just 6 months old from a Vancouver Island rescue. He was a challenge and had some behavioural issues, but you’d never know it now unless you knew him then. He is such a unique boy with a very loving and fun personality. He loves his family and gets over the moon excited whenever one of us comes home, even if it was just a quick errand! He’s an emotional creature and has many different expressions to show how he’s feeling. When he gets really excited while playing he’ll sometimes howl! He hates the water and avoids it at all costs. Tug-o-war is his favourite game and he is very strong, but he’s no match for wood floors because we can just pull him around! Our toddler adores him and he loves her, they have such a special bond and I’m so glad they get to grow up together as do our newborn twins, they will get to enjoy him for a long time too!
