Animal Bio
Bannie was found at a shelter in Nanaimo, BC. He was thought to be a small poodle, terrier mix. He was approximately 2 years old when we found by the shelter. He was badly malnourished, matted and so covered with hardened waste that he couldn’t walk. The shelter shaved him to the skin and he was nothing but skin and bone. It was heart breaking to hear how he was found and see his badly neglected health. He stood alone shivering in a big cement room, looking sickly and scared. The day I found him, I instantly fell in love and soon discovered he was my angel. Without a doubt, I didn’t rescue him, he rescued me. Despite paying for family pets our whole lives, this little rescue was the best and sweetest dog I’ve ever met. We loved and nursed him back to health. From day one he was throughly spoiled with food, treats and love. This year he turned 10 years old and deserved a small dish of vanilla ice cream to celebrate. Animals are truly the angels on this earth and I couldn’t live here without them. ❤️🐶
