Joe is approximately 8 years old, he is a rescue. Joe is a beagle, Australian Shepard and Australian Cattle dog mix. People often ask me if there is Corgi or Basset Hound in him. He was found on the streets in New York state and brought to Canada by an Ontario rescue. I started as his foster mom, but quickly fell in love with him. We travel everywhere together and he is happiest when in the jeep because then he knows he's going with me. When we travel long distances and stay in hotels he will do his business then head straight to the sliding doors, waits for them to open and then trots in like he owns the place. People always stop to talk to him or comment about how he looks.

Joe loves snow and is often seen jumping into snowbanks and digging down into and then tunneling through the snow. He also loves off leash dog parks where he can play with other dogs and sniff the thousands of great smells. When we walk around the dog park he will often stop to see where I am and waits for me to catch up a bit.

We live in a condo and he spends as much time as he can on the balcony people watching. He goes out on the balcony through all seasons but seems to like the colder weather better. He doesn't like water but will go in water to cool his tummy when it's hot or when he plays with other dogs.

I often question who rescued who? I dont know what I would have done without him the last four years. He is my sweet boy!
