Animal Bio
Brody (a three and a half year old male Coton de Tulear) came to us from a wonderful family undergoing extremely difficult circumstances, through a friend and gardening client. FYI: She continues to be a fantastic source of information on Coton de Tulears; we had no idea what we were getting into.

Brody came into our lives as we were loosing our Cairn Terrier, Ferguson. Brody enlivened our grief-stricken household. He needed help too; we learned some of the things his previous family found out the hard way about his early puppy hood. He suffers from extreme separation anxiety and doggie PTSD. We've worked together just over a year now (with the magnificent help of Donna- Hot Diggity Dogs); he's made great strides! He can usually socialize with men, and sometimes with other dogs.

We still have a long way to go, but Brody is doing great; he's learning to let go, and how to be a dog! He's seen our family through some particularly difficult times...he's a FANTASTIC therapy dog! Unfortunately for us, Brody is way too smart for our own good!! We rarely get off with anything.

When we can, Brody still has play dates with his older brother, Finlay and visits with his former dad and sister. He still loves them, but knows he's got a new family and responsibilities now. He comes home with us.
