Woof! My name is Winter and I am a sweet, gentle Belgian Malinois Shepard/lab mix. I am now 1.5 years old and roughly 55lbs but the picture of me was when I was about 2-3 months old, which I was so small. My human parents drove all the way from Vancouver to the Vernon SPCA to take me home in the winter! I love to play with my fox stuffy and I love to follow my cat siblings around the house because they are so fascinating. I don’t know what they get up to but I must try and figure it out! My talents are: I am really good at hugging and giving kisses! (Which is one of my favourite things to do), I can get a toy on command, I am super gentle with kids who I love to play with, and I listen really well to my parents. I love to make people happy and will always try to do so!! My parents say I have never ending energy, but I don’t know what they mean because we should always be running around like goofs. Also they keep throwing a ball and I wonder why they like to throw it and then pick it up.. it’s more fun to run and keep it away from them or just play tug-o-war! I want people to know that all of us animals in the shelters, regardless of the city, need a home! I know my parents will say the drive was worth it and that they would do it over a hundred times because the joy I brought to them was priceless!
