Kato was adopted as a kitten. He was the runt of litter, and had an eye infection that threatened his sight. He would sit quietly in the corner while his siblings played. We took turns day and night ensuring he had eye drops and lots of comfort snuggles. Once his health improved, Kato came alive! He was so feisty that we decided he needed a name fit for a ninja - Bruce Lee played Kato in an old TV series (the black mask fit as well). He is athletic, but can also be exceptionally affectionate. Kato loves his people, and often purrs and rolls at our feet to block any thought of hasty exit for work in the morning.
