Belle, the last puppy born from KutenaiGold , grew up with 3 adopted retrievers. She was lucky to have Ranger and Houston to guide her. Maks was the last one adopted thru KAAP Nelson and has been such a treasure. He had manners when he was found, at around 1 yr of age, but was extremely hyper and ball focused. Belle taught him that we were a safe family and that the house was also a safe zone. He still has some issues with floors and being cautious walking down hallways. Both Belle and Maks love their stuffy or ball tug of wars and don't usually destroy them. Maks loves an assortment of stuffies and balls, and has a large bin to choose from. Belle is 11 now and the desire to play is less and Maks keeps her young with his exuberant personality. These two retrievers bring a smile to all who meet them.
