Indiana came into our lives after our American Rottweiler, Montana, who was a rescue, lost her battle with osteosarcoma three weeks after her sixth Birthday. At the tender age of 4 months, Indiana was stepped on by my horse and fractured her front right leg. A few months later, we discovered the break impacted the growth platelets in her radius. Long story short, her ulna had to be shortened so today she has a rod in her leg. It’s been approximately four years since this operation and she has not slowed down! Even though we are unable to do agility, we endeavoured into nose work, which has become her passion!
