We adopted Hana after she was returned by her previous caretaker who didn't like that her eyes appeared to be two different sizes. So thankful that person didn't keep her and we got the chance to have her in our lives. Hana a huge heart (sadly, literally, enlarged heart; but happily figuratively as well) and a sweet, but determined nature. Hana is shy, but is wholely devoted to those she loves.
We rescued Kendo from a rescue organization, JCCare, thinking these two would be the closest pals, cuddling all the time. They don't. They have a frienemy relationship, but they do love each other. Kendo LOVES humans and can't get enough attention--from virtually anyone. If you've seen the sad eyes from Puss in Boots on Shrek, then you know the eyes that Kendo can give. He has that power.
Hana and Kendo bring so much love into our home, and they are fortunate to have humans who will do anything for them. We want to make sure that other, less fortunate animals are well cared for.
