Chevy came from Texas in June 2018. He had been picked up after being seen thrown out of a truck. He was about 3-4 mo at the time. I saw his little face and knew I had to save him. We drove from Vancouver to meet the foster half way in Colorado.
Chevy was completely shut down when he got to our place. He wouldn't leave the bed, wouldn't go outside or get down even to eat. After 2 weeks of having him, he got spooked in a park and ripped out of my hand and disappeared. He was gone for 8 days before he actually found his way back to our door. Now coming up to 1 year, he trusts us completely but is still terrified of strangers. We are constantly working on his fear and hope to see him get better.
