I adopted Courtenay on December 10th 2009. I adopted her a few days after I came back from a cruise. She has been a great companion for me in the years we've been together. In fact, the way it worked out timing wise, I really believe that I was meant to adopt her simply because she is such an awesome cat and she was still there when I came back from my cruise. The reason I say this is because I had visited her before my cruise and I badly wanted to adopt her then, but the rules would not allow me to do so as I would have had to leave her on her own for fifteen days while I was away on my cruise.

Anyway, I really love her and I really think that things worked out the way they were meant to.
