Sadie is a Formosan Mountain Dog. In December of 2018, at the age of two she was adopted and although timid at first, she has become a bundle of joy and more.

Found and rescued with her sister on the side of a busy highway in Taiwan; at just a few weeks old with infections and infestations, it’s sometimes hard to believe she’s become the beautiful girl she is today.

She has endless amounts of energy and always has to be the fastest dog at the park when running around. If you chase her, you better be ready. Whether your a big dog or a small dog, she’s always up for the challenge.

Sadie has come into her new life with her adopted family with ease, the new love she now receives she gives back daily. She has become comfortable with her cat sister, Willow and the two of them can be caught chasing each other around the house or simply just curling up next to each other on the couch.

Incredibly intelligent, Sadie understands that her new life is here to stay and that she has been lucky enough to avoid the cruelty that far to many other animals face. If you were to meet her today, she will always come across skittish at first but that’s just her accessing you and the situation because until recently that’s all she’s ever known.

Sadie wishes that no animals ever have to experience cruelty and that the can just smile while enjoying the sunshine with no fear.
