Mishka had a poor start to her early life. Bought from a puppy mill in Washington at 6 weeks. She was then surrendered to Everett Animal Shelter shortly after, as she had contracted parvovirus. Quarantined for 3 weeks and separated from her family she became very depressed. Everett knew she had a fight in her and worked their magic to save her. At 11 weeks she was put up on their website for adoption. I was so grateful to be accepted as her forever family. The isolation has certainly had a negative impact on her, as she was terrified of other dogs, but with patience and time we are getting there. She is making friends at the dog park and venturing over on her own to meet and greet. She’s an amazing addition to our family
