Animal BioWhat isn't there to say about Zoe? Well in this photo she must of been around 8 years old, and up until the day we lost her she never skipped a beat. I adopted Zoe when she was 5 years old from a family who could no longer take care of her. The moment we met I knew it was destiny. She was my soul mate, my better half, and my bestfriend. She melted the hearts of everyone she met with her kindness, gentleness and eagerness to please. Her presence lightened a room and looking into her eyes with that big smile she always wore it was hard to feel anything but joy and comfort. Zoe absolutely loved people, especially children. She was a gentle girl and adapted herself to any situation. There wasn't a place I couldn't take her without everyone wanting to give her a pat, and she would soak it up every time. If you knew me, you knew Zoe. There was hardly a time where we were apart as she was my work buddy on a farm. I would laugh as Zoe would always be greeted first by friends and family and maybe I would get a "Hi Tanesha" if they'd remember! I swore at times she wasn't a dog, but a human. She never put a foot wrong and I can't remember a time where I ever had to discipline her, she was the definition of perfect. Unfortunately her time on earth came far too short when she began developing issues with her esophagus. Eventually the muscles in her throat collapsed making it so she could no longer breath on her own. June 2nd 2018, on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning I had to say goodbye. I miss her warm hugs, her gentle touch, her companionship, and the unconditional love. Why can't the buggers live forever?
