Marty was such a unique character, more human-like rather than dog-like. He was a challenging rescue dog; too smart for his own good, but after lots of love, training, and understanding, he became the most loyal dog ever imagined. He loved being around his people, and would never leave your side. He deeply touched the lives of so many people, and even though we lost him unexpectedly in September 2018, he remains in our hearts so very much. A soul that can never be replaced.
