Amigo was rescued from San Bernardino California and brought to Canada. He was only 6 months old, tiny and skinny. I saw him on the local dog rescue page and immediately fell in love with him. I went to meet him and was allowed to bring him home for a trial visit. I knew he was already part of our family. He sat so still and quiet on the ride “home”, and looked so scared. I cried all the way home because he looked so vulnerable, and I was thinking of everything he had already gone through, being born on the streets. It didn’t take Amigo long to show his love and affection. We had the honour of becoming his family, and he is the most loveable, sensitive and handsome little guy. He has been in our family for four years now, and he is the best big brother to our other dog.
