Chauncey was adopted from the Vancouver SPCA exactly 2 years ago this month. He was a very nervous boy, not even wanting to come out of his kennel. He would lie down on walks, refuse to walk through the apartment door and had no interest in toys.

Slowly, he came out of his shell. He now loves to hike and go for runs along the sea wall, he’s not afraid of crowds and he loves his toys. He’s even picked up barking (it’s a bad habit, yes, but it’s better than the scared little fella he once was). He’s a very happy boy living his best life.

I am so grateful for everything the SPCA has done for us and everything they do for other pet owners and animals. Help us raise money by voting for our beautiful dog to be featured in their calendar!
