Magna was a gorgeous 6.5 year old female fawn Great Dane who passed away from bloat last December. She touched deeply those that met her and the photo shows her checking in at her favorite hotel, The Hilton in Richmond. She was very strong yet soft, loving and affectionate. She was a one human canine and treated her human as though they were married. She led him 3 times to 3 different jewelry stores expecting to be let in for shopping. She led him to a bridal gown making store twice expecting to be let in as well for shopping. She would sit beside him in the van as they drove together with her front left paw on his right knee or with her head nestled on his upper chest and shoulder while driving. Sometimes she would scratch at the back of his arm until he opened his hand to put her paw in his hand so they held "hands" as they drove together. Magna's love was unconditional and she also provided unwavering loyalty toward her human and he tried to follow her example to give back to her by her example of love towards him.
