Gordon was adopted from the Dawson Creek SPCA in 2015. He was from origins unknown, but as he was found as a very thin, stray Redbone Coonhound, he may have been an abandoned hunting dog. During his stay at the shelter, Gordie howled, bellowed, and bayed hound dog style for his freedom to adventure; the whole town must have relished his singing voice. It was certainly music to the ears of his future pa who was working across from the SPCA and fortuitously appreciated hound sounds. After a meet and greet with his new mom and Basset Hound sister-to-be, Gordon embarked on a new adventure as a house doggo-cum-libertarian free spirited Coonhound. He has since accepted another rescue sister into his pack, and they are a bonded pair and very much love house hobbies of counter surfing and competing for best bed space between their parents. Outside they run like the wind and show their true hound spirits by yelling up into the tree branches and showcasing astounding scent and sight abilities. Gordon has soulful eyes and a peaceful heart.
